Total Care Recruitment is seeking a full-time, temporary Social Work Team Assistant to support Family Support Teams in the Belfast area. Hours: Mon – Fri 9am-5pm Key Responsibilities: – Assist social work practitioners in delivering quality services to children and families. – Perform tasks as directed by the Team Leader, including report preparation and coordination of family support meetings. – Support the arrangement of services for adolescents and their families, maintaining direct contact with them. – Help supervise contact arrangements and ensure proper documentation is with children and families in crisis to promote safety and prevent family breakdown. – Maintain regular communication with children and families to monitor their well-being, including working unsocial hours when necessary. Essential Criteria: – Registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC). – Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Access NI clean driving license with business insurance. -NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) plus 6 months relevant experience, or HNC/HND in a relevant subject with 1 years experience.
