Ashton Recruitment are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / Packers for our client based in West Belfast.
Position: Warehouse Operative/ Packer
Location: Belfast – West
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday (6.00am to 2.50pm), Friday (6.00am to 2.40pm) and every other Saturday (5.00am to 10.00am)
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Setting the flow rap machine, changing rolls, and keep production line going to fulfil orders at the required rate
- Setting up the label applicator
- Printing labels to the required customer specification including font size and correct bar codes
- Checking sheets for the completion of customer records
- Picking customer orders and packing food products
Essential Criteria:
- Be available to work Monday to Thursday (6.00am to 2.50pm), Friday (6.00am to 2.40pm) and every other Saturday (5.00am to 10.00am)
- Have strong organisational skills
- Have excellent use of written and spoken English
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be able to manage their time effectively
- Be comfortable with responsibility and meeting deadlines
Desirable Criteria:
- Have experience of working in a busy warehouse
- Have experience of working in a food handling environment
- Have a working knowledge and experience of health and safety practices
- Be a strong communicator (with Supervisor and Manager)
- Hold a relevant forklift licence and electric pallet truck licence
