Warehouse Operative

- Salary: £12.31 per hour, plus bonus
- Working Hours: 3-5 days per week, 3:45 PM – 12:30 AM
Join a leading and established organisation as a Warehouse Operative, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and surpassing customer standards. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assist in the receipt and checking of incoming stock in accordance with company goods-in processes, ensuring all date and temperature disciplines are completed and products are promptly located to storage areas.
- Pick customer orders following company processes, maintaining necessary controls and ensuring temperature disciplines are adhered to.
- Load and dispatch outgoing orders in line with company processes.
- Replenish stock following company processes, ensuring the first expiry first out rule is applied.
- Assist with regular and spot stock takes as required.
- Undertake forklift truck duties as needed, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted and warehouse guidelines are observed.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled, and transported securely and in line with company procedures, food hygiene legislation, and health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace, complying with company and legislative standards.
- Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing training and guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety; full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills and customer-focused.
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene.
