Our client based in Belfast is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ Van Driver to join their team! This position will see you working within the warehouse preparing orders for delivery and delivering items out to clients.
Position: Warehouse Operative/ 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: East Belfast
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7am- 4pm, Friday 7am- 12pm.
There is a requirement to work every other Sunday (overtime is paid over 40 hours)
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Picking & packing orders according to customer specification
- Loading delivery vans and ensuring orders are loaded correctly for delivery
- Building relationships with customers via face to face or telephone when placing orders
- Assisting customers with collection of orders as well as recommending products they may require for purchase
- Van driving duties
Essential Criteria:
- Valid C1 license and 7.5 tonne experience
- Previous warehouse / customer services experience
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Motivated and highly driven individual
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Have good geographical knowledge of NI
- Access NI check is essential
