Job Summary

A leading manufacturer in the advanced composites sector is currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator / Stores Person to join their high-value production facility based in Ballygowan, County Down. This role will support operations across aerospace, defence, maritime, and automotive sectors.

We are looking for candidates with experience in manufacturing stores or warehouse environments who are highly organised, methodical, and confident in using ERP systems and stock control processes.

Responsibilities

Goods Inwards & Inventory Management

  • Receive deliveries, check items against orders, and inspect for damages.
  • Experience using ERP Systems.

Consumables & Replenishment

  • Monitor and control stock levels of consumable items
  • Raise purchase requisitions for restocking
  • Work with a Kanban system to optimise inventory flow
  • Maintain traceability and reduce wastage

Packaging & Despatch

  • Pick and securely pack items for shipment
  • Generate shipping documentation and liaise with admin to schedule collections
  • Assist with loading vehicles and perform occasional deliveries or collections using company vehicles
  • Ensure ERP system is updated for all outgoing deliveries

Equipment & Safety

  • Operate stores equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, and company vehicles (as licensed)
  • Perform pre-use equipment checks and report maintenance issues
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety and Quality Management procedures
  • Liaise with QA for goods inspections and manage certificates of conformity
  • Input data accurately into the ERP system
  • Maintain stock accuracy and perform regular inventory checks
  • Manage stock with lot tracking, expiry dates, and correct location assignments
  • Kit and pick materials for manufacturing cells and return unused items to stores

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a stores or warehousing role.
  • Proficiency with stock management or ERP systems.
  • Strong administration and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organised work ethic.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
