About the Role:

Black Fox Solutions are delighted to be seeking for a compassionate and experienced Unit Lead/Manager to oversee the day to day operations of an18 bedded General Residential Unit. This is a full-time leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in residential care who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Youll be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, supporting staff, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth running of the 18-bed general residential unit

• Lead, supervise, and support care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

• Monitor care plans and ensure residents’ individual needs are met

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and care regulations

• Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and senior management

• Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members

• Carry out audits, risk assessments, and contribute to quality improvement

• Respond to and manage any concerns, incidents, or emergencies professionally

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (required)

• Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role within a residential setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A kind, patient, and proactive approach to care

• Good knowledge of relevant care standards and safeguarding procedures

• Ability to lead a team and maintain a positive, supportive environment
