*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Room Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our toddler room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and possess excellent leadership skills. This role is crucial in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and development while managing a team of childcare professionals.

*Responsibilities*

* Lead and manage the toddler room, fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote early childhood development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children’s progress and any concerns.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery environment.
* Provide guidance and support to staff members, encouraging professional growth and teamwork.
* Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, attendance, and developmental milestones.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided within the nursery.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is essential. Level 3 in Childcare is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.
* Knowledge of current best practices in early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* Safeguarding training and First Aid training, however this can be provided if applicant does not have.
