Job Summary

We are currently hiring Welders for anindustry leader in the Building Services sector, you will be responsible for welding a range of pipe configurations, utilising various methods to produce high-quality welds.

Your hours will beMonday-Thursday 07:00-16:30 Friday 07:00-13:30, with overtime available at 1.5

Key Responsibilities

• Use precision measurement instruments and metal cutting and grinding equipment

• General workshop duties

• Read and understand pipe fabrication drawings for each project.

• Adhere to company welding procedures and ensure proper pipe preparation and fit-up.

• Undertake training in accordance with company standards and complete cross-training in various welding activities.

• Follow company Health & Safety processes.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Previous experience in Fabrication and welding with general and pipe welding

• Previous experience in welding preparation and fit up

• Experience in reading, interpreting, and working to Welding procedures

• Competent using measurement instruments, Fillet gauges etc

Desirable:

• Heavy or structural Fabrication experience?

• Welding qualifications in MMA, MAG or TIG

• Abrasive wheel training
