TIG Fabricator Backshift
We are currently hiring Fabricators for an industry leader in the Building Services sector, to join their back shift working Monday to Thursday 16:45-03:45,.
Competitive rates of pay based on experience. with overtime available at 1.5.
Job Summary:You will be responsible for fabricating pipe arrangements from shop drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards while adhering to health and safety processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless-steel pipe ranging from 65mm 500mm) from shop drawings.
- Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and pipe preparation and fit up is carried out to the correct standard.
- To undertake training in line with company standards and complete Cross training in various welding activities.
- To use precision measurement instruments and metal cutting and grinding equipment.
- General workshop duties.
Requirements:Essential:
- Experience working as a TIG fabricator, that includes Pipe Fabrication.
- The ability to interpret welding procedure requirements.
- Able to use Shop floor hand tools.
- Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a pipe fabricator, producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with either TIG/MAG and able to use MMA.
- Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or welding environment.
