Apprenticeship Opportunity

If you enjoy problem solving, like a hands-on approach to getting things done and working with a great team we have the job for you – an Apprenticeship Programme where you will train to be an Electronics Technician through a mix of attending college and learning on the job with our on-site team.

You will be working with experienced and knowledgeable people as you develop your skills and gain valuable experience in our high-tech manufacturing environment. On the education side you will complete a structured development programme at College, leading to an NVQ Level 3 or higher and up to a BTEC Level 3 or higher . On the practical side you will learn by doing as you work with our team here in Coleraine getting a wide range of experience on equipment and plant services. We can promise you will not bored with lots to learn in an enjoyable work environment.

Qualifications

Essential

You must have obtained at least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths, English and at least one science related subject, or equivalent by August 2025

Desirable

BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline

In addition you must also:

• Be prepared to join the Apprenticeships NI in conjunction with NRC to study relevant BTEC and NVQ Level
• Have a practical aptitude
• Be self-motivated
• Have strong communication skills
• Have goodorganisationskills
• Be keen to learn, with a can do approach

All shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake pre-selection aptitude tests in numeracy and literacy, prior to selection for interview.
