Black Fox Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer within the building products and construction sector, now seeking a Technical Engineer to join their expanding technical team in Cookstown.

The Role

As Technical Engineer, youll be responsible for producing accurate, competitive, and technically detailed quotations for customers across the construction industry. Youll provide expert technical support, prepare load calculations, and deliver engineered solutions that meet performance and building control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate technical quotations within set timescales

Complete load assessments and calculations for customer projects

Specify both standard and bespoke product solutions to meet project needs

Produce lintel calculations to satisfy building control authorities

Respond to technical phone and email queries, delivering exceptional customer service

Conduct occasional site visits to build client relationships and resolve technical challenges

Prepare clear, structured technical reports and documentation

About You

Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline

Knowledge of the construction industry (on-site experience desirable)

Experience with AutoCAD and manufacturing drawings is beneficial

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Strong attention to detail, ambitious, and target driven

The Package

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: MondayThursday 8:305:00 – Friday 8:453:30
