Exclusive Role Tableau Developer

Were proud to be working exclusively with a leading Belfast-based tech company on a high-profile Tableau Developer role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented BI professional to join an innovative team delivering data-driven solutions across a key transformation project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Gather and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Optimise Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau development.
- Proficient in Tableau Server/Online including dashboard publishing, user management, and task scheduling.
- Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Skilled in writing Level of Detail (LOD) calculations (FIXED, INCLUDE, EXCLUDE) and table calculations (e.g. ranking, running totals).
- Experience using Tableau Prep for data cleaning and shaping workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate certification.
- Familiarity with additional BI tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI.
