*36hrs per week minimum – Shift Work 8am – 8pm. Monday – Sunday.

The successful candidate will work as part of a Support Services Team, delivering a high-quality, safe and effective service to clients that has a positive impact on the wider community in accordance with contractual obligations and company Policies & Procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • To provide Housing related support to assist clients live independently in the community. (This will not include personal care tasks).
  • To be available to work at times appropriate to the changing needs of the client and for the efficient use of staff resources
  • To assist in the assessment of needs and risks as relevant to each Client and to assist to set and attain realistic and achievable targets
  • To monitor and record the client’s progress and support tasks delivered during shift.
  • To provide a range of services appropriate to the individuals needs
  • To assist Clients develop the skills needed to attain, maintain and sustain stable tenancies
  • To promote Client involvement and active participation in the service.
  • To work in a multi-agency manner with relevant professionals
  • To act as an advocate for Clients as appropriate

What we need from you;

  • Minimum of one years’ work experience, working within housing, social care or equivalent setting with vulnerable Clients (Young People, Children or Adults)
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding issues, practices, and procedures
  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate good recording and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to effectively support and work as a member of a team
  • Good understanding of health & safety
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of IT literacy
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and the delivery of best practice
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, confidence and ability to use initiative
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to be flexible on approach to work and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required
  • Full EU Driving Licence and access to a car
