VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major FMCG Client with the Recruitment of a Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic and growing team based in their Armagh Site.
Salary / £43,000 + Benefits Package
Hours / Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of sales forecast and monitoring of stock movements;
- Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation;
- Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
- Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products;
- Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand;
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Purchasing materials to meet forecasted demand;
- Management of supplier’s performance.
The Person:
- Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team;
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
