We’re working on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing company in the Manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced Stores & Parts Manager for their site in Co. Armagh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of engineering equipment, proven leadership skills, and hands-on experience in parts and service operations. You’ll be a key player in the continued growth and efficiency of a high-performing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Ensure parts availability and optimal stock levels through efficient inventory control.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Source and purchase parts, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Order Fulfilment: Process and manage customer and internal orders promptly and accurately.
  • Returns & Warranty: Oversee warranty claims, manage returns, and ensure proper parts handling.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small but growing support team, including yard and stores operatives.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers and dealers in identifying the right parts, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain records, generate reports, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide internal and external advice on parts specifications and usage.

What You’ll Need:

  • Essential: Proven experience with engineering equipment (technical and operational knowledge).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory systems and general computer literacy.
  • Customer-focused with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing budgets and supplier negotiations
