Based in our Portadown Site you will join the JRL Group of companies becoming a key member of the McMullen Facades team. The Stock Control Administrator is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring the accurate tracking of materials and products within the business. This role involves maintaining stock accuracy, monitoring stock movement, and coordinating with various departments to optimize stock levels and meet production requirements.
The successful candidate will:
- Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend/rework accordingly.
- Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments to suppliers and expediting.
- Reconciling purchase orders, packing lists and purchase invoices and taking the appropriate actions when discrepancies are found.
- Recording and transferring stock to the right locations and booking stock onto the computer system- Navision
- Generate inspection lists for the booking-in of stock and ensure all stock is properly counted in.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding partial deliveries.
- Assist with yearly stocktake and cycle count.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic factory environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 8-5pm, Friday 8-2pm.
