Job Description:
We are seeking a Solution Architect with extensive experience in both technology and cyber security to be a trusted technical advisor to advance the adoption and value delivery of Thales’s world-class cyber security products. The Principal Solution Architect serves a critical function within the organization by ensuring ongoing and ever-improving customer return-on-investment at scale.
You will be responsible for meeting with customers at the various phases of product deployments as well as collaborating with other teams to ensure products are architected, deployed and configured in a manner to deliver maximum value throughout the customer journey. The Principal Solution Architect will also work to understand at a macro-level how customers are leveraging Imperva’s product offerings, identify new emerging business and technical trends, and work closely with Product Management (PM) and Product Development (PD) to ensure the strategic product roadmaps align with evolving customer requirements and expectations.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Drive product adoption, expansion, and customer engagement through webinars, digital content, and cohort engagement approaches (e.g., workshops, office hours, etc.).
- Collaborate across teams to drive effective customer programs.
- Partner with the CSMs to accelerate time to value and increase feature adoption thereby accelerating the customer life cycle journey to enable expansions more quickly and successfully.
- Contribute to the creation of content for the Digital CSM organization, Community, and other value-added collateral that can be shared with our customers at scale.
- Liaise with Product Management and Product Engineering teams to ensure a closed loop feedback model.
- Partner with services team members for health checks and value assessments.
- Build engagement playbooks and reach out to customers with a relentless focus on quick solutions and positive outcomes.
- Contribute and execute on Get Our Act Together (GOAT) plans for at-risk customers.
- Organize product-centric office hours where customers can become more familiar with the product and how to leverage it correctly.
- Responsible for conducting periodic customer health-checks Prepare and educate customers on new features and releases Identify renewal risk and collaborate with internal teams to remediate and ensure a successful renewal.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years technology experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated facilitation, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders leading to “trusted advisor status”.
- Demonstrated competency in the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions.
- Demonstrated understanding of the 360 customer experience, including but not limited to client business drivers and client value attainment (ROI/TCO).
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, application deployment processes, and automation (APIs).
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture as well as the IT landscape.
- Proficient with at least one the following cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level.
- Ability to position, discuss and debate solution validation, using objection-handling skills.
- Proficient with and understanding the foundation concepts of data protection (key management and encryption).
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently to successfully drive projects.
- Ability to travel to customer as needed.
