Full job description Slitter/Rewinder Operative The position will be running a slitting machine to rework or slit orders down to the customer specification. There may also be some warehousing duties from time to time. Your duties will include: – Slitting pre printed labels onto rolls as per the customers spec. – Learning how to manufacture blank labels. – Helping with Warehousing and Dispatching. – Helping in other departments if needed. The position is permanent and full time for the right candidate. Schedule: – 37 hours per week – Monday Thursday 08:15 to 16:45 and Friday 08:15 to 15:00 – £14.20 per hour There will be sufficient training given in all tasks. Ideal candidate – Reliable and punctual – Have a keen eye for detail – Flexible to do some overtime if needed – Experience running any Label Press will be viewed favourably.
