VANRATH are recruiting a Site Engineer to work on residential projects, initially in Omagh

The Ideal Person:
- Third level qualification in Construction Engineering and Management, or similar.
- 2+ post graduate experience with ideally in residential builds.
- Proficient in numeracy and IT (e.g. MS packages).
- A full, valid driving licence and relevant site cards.
- Deadline driven, in instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets.
- To use own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for a project from start to finish.
Overview of Role:
- Reading construction drawings, interpreting and providing clear communication on site for layouts, material measurements etc.
- Ensuring accuracy with setting out, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on site.
- Effectively influencing the progress on sites ensuring deadlines are met.
- Dealing with clients and subcontractors.
- Working closely with all other team members to ensure that all the SHEQ aspects of work are adhered to during your project phase on site.
- Continually developing your knowledge in the industry, communicating, and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant team members.
