Key responsibilities

- Temporary works: Support the Temporary Works lead; make sure checks and permits are in place before loading or striking temporary works.
- Drawings & changes: Read drawings/specs, raise queries (RFIs/TQs) when somethings unclear, and keep redlines up to date for as-builts.
- Planning & reporting: Keep a daily diary, track outputs and constraints, help with short-term plans, keep registers (RFIs/TQs/NCRs/tests) current, and flag risks early.
- Commercial support: Measure and verify quantities and keep records to support subcontractor valuations.
- Health, safety & environment (NI): Brief RAMS (method/safety brief), do point-of-work risk assessments, follow CDM (NI) 2016 duties, and maintain environmental controls.
