Job Summary

Shift Maintenance Engineer – Belfast

Manpower is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer with our client who are an industry leader supplying a range of products to the agri sector

Reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role to ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.

4 week shift pattern, x4 shifts in week one and x3 shifts for three weeks, with a competitive salary at £46k

7 days off every 4 weeks

The Role

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving mechanical and electrical systems to support production operations.
  • Carry out planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Investigating and resolving machine-related issues, including root cause analysis
  • Providing support for process and quality concerns
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date shift documentation and records
  • Supplying detailed breakdown reports and actions for the maintenance system
  • Following all Health & Safety guidelines and promoting safe working practices

What We Are Looking For

  • Apprenticeship Engineering qualification with experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in production machinery
  • Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Can work in a fast paced environment
