JOB TITLE: Senior Specialist, Talent & Development
JOB LOCATION: Belfast, hybrid working
TERMS: 12 month fixed term contract
THE JOB
A great opportunity to join our Talent & Development team on a 12 month FTC. You will be responsible for delivering the recruitment strategy for your assigned business areas, driving direct recruitment and ensuring best practice.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Support the Head of Talent & Development with the design and delivery of recruitment strategies for Fibrus Ltd. and its subsidiaries.
- Keep up to date with recruitment technologies and trends to ensure our recruitment processes are relevant and fit for purpose.
- Partnering with assigned entities/departments to understand hiring needs, future growth plans, talent development and delivering on these requirements while empowering hiring managers with knowledge on best practice.
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle: R2R process, writing job descriptions, advertising on appropriate channels , sourcing, reviewing assessment methods, screening, interview, offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Actively drive direct recruitment, keeping agency spend and cost per hire to a minimum.
- Attending careers fairs and networking events in NI & GB to support showcasing Fibrus as an employer of choice.
- Working cross – functionally with the wider team to support with People initiatives such as benchmarking and career framework alignment.
- Regularly review and refine recruitment processes to ensure we are attracting the best talent to Fibrus while maintaining an excellent candidate experience and fairness through the process.
- Supporting internal candidates by advising them on skill development and best practice to increase their chances of success when applying for promotions.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
- Significant experience in an in-house recruitment role, managing the end-to-end process for all levels of roles
- Demonstrable experience in high volume recruitment and recruitment campaigns.
- Strong understanding of employment law in relation to recruitment practices and committed to ensuring a fair process to all candidates
- Experience working with data and an analytical mindset to influence continuous improvement
- The ability to manage multiple roles and projects while working to deadlines
- Significant experience in stakeholder management at all levels along with the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate where necessary
- Knowledge of workforce planning and talent development
- The ability to develop and implement recruitment solutions quickly in periods of high growth
