Senior HR Advisor/Generalist – Belfast

Due to continued success, our progressive, Belfast based, client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior HR Officer/Generalist to support their very busy department.

This is a permanent, generalist HR role that provides excellent exposure to the full employee lifecycle. As a Senior HR Officer, you will report directly to the Head of HR and assist with a broad range of HR responsibilities including performance, employee relations, policies, engagement, learning and development and HR projects.

The Role:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Support the performance management process, ensuring employees receive feedback and development opportunities.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
  • Assist in fostering employee engagement and maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, absence tracking, and annual leave reporting.
  • Provide initial support on employee relations issues and assist with performance improvement processes.
  • Assist with training and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with employee growth and organisational goals.
  • Support HR operations, compliance, and reporting, including tracking HR metrics and ensuring adherence to UK/NI employment laws.

The Person:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a Human Resources role (essential).
  • CIPD qualification or a relevant HR-related degree (essential).
  • Must be currently working in a busy, operational HR role.
  • Excellent attention to detail
