Senior HR Officer
Location: Dungannon Area/ Co Tyrone
Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent

We are hiring for an experienced Senior HR Officer to join a dynamic global manufacturing organisation in the Dungannon area/Co Tyrone.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll provide comprehensive HR support to line managers and employees, offering guidance on employment matters, policies, procedures, and terms & conditions. This is a hands-on role that involves localised travel between sites and working with senior managers to address complex employee relations issues and drive HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background as an HR Officer/Generalist in a fast-paced environment, ideally a production led environment, and the confidence to manage the full range of HR matters.

The Role:
- Provide HR guidance and advice on policies, procedures, and employee relations
- Manage complex employee relations issues across all sites
- Coordinate sickness absence management, performance appraisals, and occupational health referrals
- Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising and onboarding
- Organise and deliver internal training
- Maintain HR database, personnel files, and other HR information sources
- Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive best practice
- Provide timely data for payroll processing
The Person:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, generalist role, preferably within a production led environment (eg manufacturing/ engineering/ construction/ distribution)
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and managing complex cases
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior management
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and HR database systems
