Recruiting on behalf of a well-known manufacturing company – Senior HR Administrator
At VANRATH, we are proud to partner with a local well-known manufacturing company, based in Antrim, to recruit an experienced Senior HR Administrator to join their growing HR team.
With over 40 years of excellence in manufacturing and a dedicated workforce of approximately 400 employees, our client is at the forefront of quality, innovation, and sustainability in the building products sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment, supporting the company’s HR operations and employee engagement initiatives.
The Role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Administrator will be a key player in supporting the day-to-day HR function. From payroll to recruitment and compliance, you’ll help deliver best-in-class HR practices that foster a productive and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance & Absence Management – Monitor attendance records and support line managers in managing absenteeism proactively.
- Engagement & Wellbeing – Drive engagement programmes and support wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
- HR Administration – Maintain HR records, prepare reports, and support payroll processes as needed.
- Compliance & Policy – Ensure legal compliance and support policy updates.
- Performance Management – Assist with appraisals and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Manage recruitment lifecycle for various roles, ensuring a professional and efficient candidate experience.
- Training & Development – Coordinate internal and external training to support workforce development.
What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards)
- Proven experience in a similar HR role, ideally in manufacturing or a comparable sector
- Sound knowledge of NI employment legislation
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confident in handling employee relations and providing HR advice to management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
