Senior Design Engineer Co. Down
Were working with a well-established manufacturing business in Co. Down that specialises in stainless steel machinery and conveyor systems.
Theyre looking to bring in a Senior Design Engineer who can take ownership of projects from concept to completion someone comfortable dealing with bespoke machinery, leading design work, and working closely with both production and the customer.
Youll be involved in:
- Designing conveyor systems and food-grade equipment using SolidWorks
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers in the team
- Managing full design lifecycle from initial spec to handover
- Supporting the shop floor with technical queries during build
- Ensuring designs meet hygiene and safety standards for food manufacturing environments
What youll need:
- Strong SolidWorks experience ideally in conveyor or special purpose machinery
- Experience designing in stainless steel
- Confidence dealing with bespoke solutions and customer requirements
- Good communication skills and a hands-on approach
