You’ll be joining a stable and expanding finance team reporting to the Finance Manager, with exposure to senior leadership and the wider business operations.
About you
- Proven experience within Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable, ideally in the construction or subcontracting industry
- CIS knowledge and experience managing subcontractor invoices is essential
- Confident with reconciliations, payment runs, and ledger management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
- A team player with a proactive mindset and desire to progress in finance
What you’ll do
- Take ownership of the purchase ledger function, processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Manage CIS submissions, verifying subcontractors and ensuring compliance
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries efficiently
- Prepare weekly payment runs and assist with month-end close
- Support the Finance Manager with reporting, accruals, and ledger analysis
