up to £60,000 basic plus OTE £100,000 uncapped, company car and excellent benefits
Our client, a leading international transport services provider, is currently seeking a Senior Freight Account Manager to manage client relationships, develop new business, and ensure customer satisfaction within the logistics sector. This role involves proactive sales, account management, and a focus on growth and profitability. The position requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector.
- Account Management:
Managing existing client relationships, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
Driving revenue growth through effective account management and sales strategies.
- Relationship Building:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Problem Solving:
Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise with customer accounts.
- Reporting and Analysis:
Tracking performance, analysing data, and providing regular reports on sales and account activity.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage key accounts.
