What will you be doing?
Working closely with the Trauma North Team, you will develop and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders. You will take an active part in customer education in the field, supporting the Sales Representatives to achieve greater customer engagement and commercial success. You will actively pursue business opportunities to grow Stryker business in targeted accounts, and at all times display exemplary customer service and patient focus.
In this role you will develop the skills required to become an effective Sales Representative. Learning and practice the techniques required to grow the volume of a defined territory through sales of Stryker Trauma products.
Learn to manage business in accounts within an existing sales territory and become responsible for the day to day running of key accounts. Become proficient in dealing with; stock issues, instrument requirements, organising loan kits, organising and carrying out regular customer training, learning to provide guidance on the safe use of Stryker products within the defined portfolio in the hospital and operating theatre environment.
In this role you will be supporting all products within the Trauma portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
– To take increasing levels of responsibility for supporting the Sales Representatives in promoting and demonstrating a range of orthopaedic trauma products into the NHS and private hospitals
– To support the Sales Representatives in achieving their sales results in line with their monthly and annual sales target and KPI metrics
– Learn anatomical structures, acronyms, clinical and surgical procedures to be able to demonstrate medical equipment within the theatre and clinical environment in line with company expectations
– Learn the orthopaedic market, macro and microenvironment, customers, and competitors in line with company expectations
– Support the Sales Representatives in conducting trials and evaluations of product in theatre and clinical environment to drive sales.
– Ensure safe and effective use of the company’s technology
– Maintain and build relationships with key customers and decision makers including orthopaedic surgeons, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement with the goal of achieving the commercial objectives of the organisation, whilst always promoting the positive image of the company to the customer
– Take increasing responsibility for organising and conducting training workshops with participation from surgical & theatre staff
– Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development by keeping up to date with company products, competitors, and latest developments in the industry

The Sales Associate will need to live or relocate to Northern Ireland.
What you need?
– Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences/economics
– Previous sales/marketing experience desired
