Location: London, waterside (Hybrid, 2/3 days a week in office)
Contract ended: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)
Rate: £375 per day through UMBRELLA (Inside IR35)
Job purpose:
To provide guidance and expert advice for People Business Partners and line managers on global benefits across client through the effective application of benefit data, policies and process.
What You’ll Do:
- To plan for and execute effective reward processes globally, with a comprehensive audit trail and continuous improvement.
- Support the delivery of global benefits and global mobility activities, including projects as required.
- Through a deep understanding of the current and future business drivers deliver and plan for changes and improvements in global benefits strategy.
- Analysis and manipulation of data using Excel.
- Provide guidance and intelligence on the key trends identified in data analysis and recommend appropriate actions.
- Production of management reports, charts and graphs for presentation to managers.
- Manage key relationship with external providers and advisors.
- Working with benefits brokers and insurance providers leading the benefit renewal and review processes.
- Researching global market information –industry practices and publications, benchmarking data, advising the Reward Manager of findings and options for change.
- Monitoring government regulations, legislation and trends globally.
- Provide governance support to Committees where required.
- Developing effective and engaging communications on reward built around a strategy of total reward translating technical information to non-technical customers clearly and concisely.
- To support and deliver on the review and appointment of new providers and suppliers globally as required
Skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure and to follow through decisions whilst maintaining accuracy and quality of output.
- Initiative, flexibility and judgement in identifying most appropriate ways of working.
- Mature and balanced understanding of the internal and external constraints and the business context in which it needs to be applied.
- Capable in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
- Effective in Relationship Management
- Able to use discretion effectively whilst at all times maintaining the required position of the Reward and People function, including delivering difficult messages as necessary.
- Able to develop a Reward network outside of client
- Previous experience of benefits
- Able to lead and drive process improvement
Qualifications
- Experience of Global Mobility
- Experience of Reward policies and processes
- Experience of managing international benefit renewals
- Experience of People policies
- Expert level skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills, both written and verbal.
