Registered Manager – Social Care Are you a passionate leader with a heart for making a real difference? Are you a qualified Health and Social Care Professional, i.e. Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist? Excel Recruitment are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join our client in Portadown and provide outstanding care and support to those who need it most. As our Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with RQIA regulations. You will play a vital role in shaping a positive, person-centred environment that empowers service users to live fulfilling lives. This is a temporary role for 12 weeks initially, with the potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the care service, in line with the service’s core values Ensure compliance with RQIA standards and other regulations Lead, develop, and motivate a team of care professionals Deliver high-quality, person-centred care To oversee the referral process and admission procedures Build strong relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders Manage budgets and resources effectively To complete regular health & safety monitoring reports Requirements RQIA Registered Manager experience (or eligibility to register) 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Strong leadership and management skills Be able to participate in an out of hours, on call service on a rota basis In depth knowledge of RQIA standards and safeguarding procedures Experience in residential, domiciliary, or supported living services Full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle Ability to plan and organise workload Benefits A supportive and friendly team Pension scheme & other benefits £18.05 – £19.92 per hour Ready to Lead with Compassion?
