The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, to recruit a Regeneration Officer to work within the Land & Regeneration Department / Place Shaping team in Craigavon on an ongoing temporary contract basis.
Your new role
You will contribute to the delivery of the Land and Regeneration Unit’s business objectives to build sustainable communities through effective place shaping and land & property management. You will:
Contribute to the delivery of the Regional Services Land Asset Management robust business cases for the determination of land use and land acquisition.
Maintain and update catalogues and records of Land and Regeneration transactions.
Ensure the use and disposal of land assets supports the implementation of area-based place-shaping plans and initiatives.
Contribute to the implementation of the house sales scheme, supervising Senior Administrative staff and ensuring appropriate scrutiny and application of policy, process and governance is applied.
Liaise with local stakeholders to ensure the holistic delivery of housing-led regeneration programmes.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
A degree or an equivalent level qualification, (preferably in a discipline which includes at least one of the following subjects: land law, land and estate management, regeneration) with at least 1 years’ relevant experience, or;
A BTEC Higher or equivalent Level 5* qualification e.g. IOHPQ plus 2 years’ relevant experience, or;
Equivalent continuing professional development / experiential learning and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
