Job Summary

This role will take ownership of Business Support and Paralegal recruitment across Fieldfisher’s UK offices. It will also involve leading recruitment-related projects and contributing to broader recruitment and HR initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for hiring managers in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Belfast regarding recruitment for business support, legal support, and paralegal roles.

Work closely with hiring managers and recruitment stakeholders on a daily basis to advise on recruitment strategy, with a strong emphasis on direct hiring and addressing resourcing needs.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including:Meeting with hiring managers to define and confirm job specifications.

Direct sourcing of candidates via LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

Candidate selection and interviews (with support from the team coordinator).

Candidate management and feedback.

Management of offer documentation (with support from the onboarding team).

Market mapping and salary benchmarking.

Lead the Business Services Recruitment Team (two Advisors and one Coordinator).

Ensure a streamlined, positive, and professional candidate experience from interview through to offer.

Promote the Fieldfisher brand in Northern Ireland to attract top talent directly.

Collaborate with the Early Careers Manager to build a talent pipeline through apprenticeship and training programmes in Belfast.

Develop strong relationships with the Belfast leadership team to support the growth of Fieldfisher’s Belfast office.

Key Skills & Experience

Experience working at management level within a law firm environment.

A strong client service ethos, with the ability to promote the recruitment team internally through service excellence.

In-depth knowledge of the Northern Ireland recruitment market.

Proven experience recruiting for business support roles, including (but not limited to) PAs, Paralegals, and roles across Finance, IT, Marketing, Risk, and HR.

Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.

A successful track record of directly sourcing candidates at all levels using appropriate channels.

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure.

High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and initiative.

Demonstrated project management and organisational capabilities.

Confident people management skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, dual-location team.

Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to maintain it at all times.
