Job Role: Recruitment Consultant
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Location: Ballymena
MPA recruitment welcome suitable applications for the role of Recruitment Consultant, based in our Ballymena branch.
The successful candidate will work within a well-established thriving recruitment team delivering the highest standards in customer care to both our clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- 360-degree recruitment of agency workers including candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- Completing pre-employment checks in accordance with MPA standard operating procedures such as reference checks, Access NI’s, etc.
- Ensure a suitable pool of candidates is available to fill vacancies and/or booking.
- Respond to client requests as outlined within the organisation’s framework.
- Manage potential business opportunities including leads and referrals and to promote the full recruitment services offered by the company.
- Generate new business through telephone and face to face sales activity.
- Day to day performance management of agency staff, proactively seeking feedback on performance, coaching, and supporting staff in their various placements.
- Work towards team targets set.
- Participate in marketing events including attendance at various recruitment fairs.
- Participate in the on-call service, rota based within the team (This is paid at an additional rate).
- Supporting the healthcare recruitment team during periods of annual leave or staff shortages

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
