Purpose of the Role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of recruitment competitions for a large public sector client and other public bodies against service level targets and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a lead contact with client in the management of recruitment campaigns
- Build positive, professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Project manage assigned recruitment campaigns in order to meet client timelines
- Responsible for quality checking the administration of recruitment campaigns ensuring 100% accuracy
- Provide professional advice and guidance to client and other stakeholders in line with client Policy and Procedures and employment legislation
- Organise, chair and facilitate recruitment meetings with client representatives
- Work closely with the recruitment administration team in supporting the delivery of effective recruitment campaigns
- Plan and organise the workload ensuring resources are utilised effectively
- Ensure that the recruitment systems are maintained correctly with progress of recruitment campaigns and provide updates to stakeholders as and when required
- Liaise with third party services for recruitment advertising, testing etc
- Manage the performance of Recruitment Administrator/s, motivating, coaching and encouraging their development as necessary
- Manage workflow using current systems and ensuring customer service standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to;
- Ensure that team members are communicated to regarding policies, procedures and legislation
- Work closely with other team leaders and the operational managers to promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Continuously work in partnership with recruiters to deliver a seamless, high quality service to the client
- Proactively escalate all issues which impact service delivery in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Adhere to data protection guidelines and rules
- Contribute to the investigation and response to complaints about the resourcing service
Other tasks may be assigned to the role over time based on business need and following consultation with the post holder.
What we are looking for:
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Essential
- Experience in a resourcing or professional recruitment environment
- Experience of managing multiple recruitment campaigns or recruitment projects concurrently
- Experience of leading engagement with clients and providing professional recruitment advice and guidance in accordance with Recruitment policies and Employment Legislation
- Experience of building and maintaining successful client relationships
- Experience of using an Applicant tracking or HR Management system
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Desirable
- Experience of resourcing within the public sector
- Experience of managing staff
Education/Training
Desirable
- CIPD qualified, currently or willing to work towards membership of CIPD level 5 via study.
Other
- Role based in Northern Ireland due to client requirements.
- Role will require job holder to successfully undertake security vetting up to Counter Terrorist Check level.
