About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Recruiter to join our care home team. This role is pivotal in ensuring we attract and retain high-quality care staff who are committed to delivering exceptional support to our residents. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, while promoting our values and maintaining compliance with care sector regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles including carers, nurses, kitchen staff, and administrative personnel.
• Job Advertising: Write and post engaging job adverts across multiple platforms to attract suitable candidates.
• Candidate Management: Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and manage communications throughout the recruitment process.
• Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with RQIA standards and safeguarding policies, including Access NI checks and right-to-work documentation.
• Onboarding: Coordinate induction and training schedules for new hires in collaboration with HR and care management.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with care home managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment updates.
• Reporting: Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring activity and outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the health or social care sector.
• Strong understanding of care home staffing requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Empathy and a genuine interest in improving the lives of care home residents.
