We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join one of our valued public sector clients, providing expert cost management and contractual support across a varied portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects from inception to completion.

Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Oversee and manage tendering processes, including preparation of documentation and analysis of bids.

Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure best value and ensure compliance with procurement rules.

Administer contracts in line with public sector governance and relevant legislation.

Monitor project progress and costs, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

Produce detailed financial reports and cost analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

Liaise closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals to support successful project delivery.
About You:
-
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Professional membership of RICS or working towards chartership.
-
Proven experience in cost planning, budget management, and contract administration.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, tendering, and relevant legislation.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficient in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office applications.
