We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join one of our valued public sector clients, providing expert cost management and contractual support across a varied portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects from inception to completion.

• Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

• Oversee and manage tendering processes, including preparation of documentation and analysis of bids.

• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure best value and ensure compliance with procurement rules.

• Administer contracts in line with public sector governance and relevant legislation.

• Monitor project progress and costs, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

• Produce detailed financial reports and cost analyses for internal and external stakeholders.

• Liaise closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other professionals to support successful project delivery.

About You:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Professional membership of RICS or working towards chartership.

• Proven experience in cost planning, budget management, and contract administration.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, tendering, and relevant legislation.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proficient in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office applications.
