Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical (Measured Term Contracts)
We are hiring for our client, a respected name in building services, who is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical to lead the commercial delivery of Measured Term Contracts (MTC) in their Mechanical maintenance division.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of facilities and public sector contracts, where you’ll take responsibility for procurement, valuations, cost forecasting, and contractual compliance. Based in Northern Ireland, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance and operational excellence across mechanical maintenance frameworks.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical
• Deliver full commercial management of Mechanical MTC contracts
• Oversee procurement, tendering, and subcontractor engagement
• Manage valuations, variations, and client invoicing
• Collaborate with PMs, clients, and contractors to ensure cost and programme alignment
• Maintain commercial compliance with NEC 4 and PSA schedule of rates
• Produce cost forecasts and monitor budget performance
• Contribute to overall project planning and risk management
The Person – Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical
• Minimum 3 years’ Quantity Surveyor experience (Mechanical focus)
• Strong background in Mechanical MTC or FM maintenance contracts
• Deep understanding of PSA pricing and Mechanical systems
• NEC 4 contract knowledge essential
• High-level proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Client-facing experience and public sector exposure (desirable)
