Role Description
This is full time role for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator at E & D DRYWALL LTD. The position is located in Omagh, Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will take responsibility for aspects of quantity surveying from early construction phases measurement, valuation and managing payment applications, cost / value reconciliation throughout the project to final account and claims handling upon completion. Willing to travel to UK. The candidate will seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value of money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Have relevant surveying experience with construction contracting company and general understanding of contract terms.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
- Possess working knowledge of estimating software
- Experience in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Strong skills in Cost Reporting
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial
