We are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our growing team and support the companys continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed quotations for fabrication and installation projects.
- Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Submit tenders and follow up with clients, negotiating terms where appropriate.
- Monitor and control project costs and variations.
- Identify new tender opportunities and contribute to business development.
- Conduct onsite meetings and assist with confirmation of dimensions
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 years experience in a QS/Estimator role within steel fabrication or construction.
- Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of estimating software advantageous.
Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mild steel, stainless steel, and structural steel products.
