About the Role:
Working closely with their experienced Commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest quality standards across all stages of a projects lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and appoint sub-contractors to a wide range of projects
- Manage sub-contractor packages from appointment to final account
- Submit valuations, variations, and monthly reports
- Liaise with Contracts Managers and Site Teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Attend site visits to assess completed works and monitor cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Information Management Systems
- Contribute to any other commercial duties as required
What they’re Looking For:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar QS role
- Solid knowledge of contracts such as JCT, NEC, or PWC
- Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- A full, valid driving licence is essential
