Your new role As Quality Systems Manager, you will take ownership of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all processes, documentation, and compliance activities meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in supporting food safety systems, managing specifications, and overseeing supplier approval processes. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, NPD, and technical, to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to quality. You’ll also be responsible for regulatory sign-off on product artwork and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through KPI monitoring, complaint analysis, and non-conformance tracking. You’ll manage and develop an administrative team member, contribute to audit readiness, and support the wider technical function in driving operational excellence. This role offers a blend of strategic oversight and on-the-ground engagement, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What you’ll need to succeed You’ll bring solid experience in quality systems within a food manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of HACCP, regulatory compliance, and specification management. A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work across teams are essential. You should be confident in managing documentation, supporting continuous improvement, and ideally have experience with systems like SAP.
