A leading manufacturer of aircraft seating solutions is seeking an experienced NPI Quality Engineer to support the introduction of new products for major global airlines. This role is key to ensuring all quality deliverables are met on time and to standard during the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Quality lead within integrated NPI project teams.
- Develop and implement Product Quality Standards, Inspection Plans, FAIRs, and Quality Alerts.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis, MRB investigations, and quality improvement activities.
- Support internal and external audits, and milestone reviews.
- Influence design, supply chain, and manufacturing to embed quality throughout.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Quality or Engineering role, or HNC/HND/Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work cross-functionally.
- Willing to work flexibly and travel as needed.
