Ballymoney

Monday to Thursday (39 hours)

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Quality Engineer to contribute to the Ballymoney team.

As a Quality Engineer at Terex Ballymoney, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring a quality product for our customers.

Key Tasks will include:

  • Customer and Production support for all quality issues.
  • Product approval process – FAIR validation, audits.
  • Assertively seeking corrective & preventive action against known quality issues both internally and externally.
  • MRB process for returned goods.
  • Product and process audits.
  • Contribute to the NPPD process.
  • Responsibility for assuring all products meet quality specific sign-off criteria where non-conformance exists, introduce suitable manufacturing containment actions while working with the supply base (internal or external) & technical personnel to achieve long-term solutions for quality from root-cause analysis.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Two years’ experience within the quality remit in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to read complex engineering drawing and understand weld symbols.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment covering Machine shop, fabrication, assembly, and paint disciplines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem-solving techniques utilised throughout the manufacturing industry.
  • Can use statistical methods to fault find & support solutions to technical issues.
  • Excellent computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills for use with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Desirable

  • CSWIP qualification/Weld inspection experience.
  • Powder paint experience.
