Quality Assurance Manager (Maternity Cover) Belfast | £40,000 DOE | 12-Month FTC | Mon-Fri, Days MCS Group is happy to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer for a Quality Assurance Manager to cover maternity leave from May 2025 – May 2026. This is a hands-on role with full exposure to site-wide quality and compliance processes at a modern, automated facility. The Role: Lead QA activities and manage daily Certificates of Analysis Maintain and improve a HACCP-based QMS Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, food safety legislation and customer standards Prepare for and lead site audits Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement What You’ll Need: QA/Technical experience in food manufacturing Proven experience leading site audits Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP standards Degree or equivalent in Food Science or similar Strong Excel skills and clear communication What’s On Offer: £40,000 DOE (some flexibility) 25 days holiday + stats 5% matched pension 4x life assurance Free secure parking 25% discount with local sports retailer Note: Applicants must not be gluten-intolerant due to the nature of the site.
