Our client, a successful engineering company based in Mid Ulster, are seeking a motivated professional to join their Supply Chain team and help drive cost-effective purchasing, efficient stock management, and on-time delivery to support their growing business.
Duties:

Source and purchase goods, raw materials, and services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Build and maintain strong supplier and internal relationships to ensure stock availability.

Use MRP/ERP systems to manage purchasing and stock levels.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and business improvements.

Produce reports on supplier performance and purchasing efficiency.

Support the development of purchasing policies and processes.
Requirements:

12 years experience in a purchasing role (negotiating with suppliers, managing costs, delivering improvements).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experienced with MRP/ERP systems.

GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

(Desirable) Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
