An exciting opportunity with a hugely successful and growing business has just become available. Our client is currently looking to recruit aPurchaserto join their team. The successful candidate will join a successful business and will ensure parts and materials required for the business are procured to meet company requirements.

The Role

• Procurement of materials, parts and components
• Negotiating prices and lead times with suppliers
• Sourcing new and alternative suppliers
• Ensure a continuous supply of parts and materials
• Managing supplier call off orders for any long lead time requirements
• Liaise with different departments across the business regarding their procurement needs
• Reviewing stock levels and ensure a continuous supply of parts and materials
• Continuously monitor supplier performance

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2 years experience in a purchasing role
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Good communicator and positive can-do attitude
• Highest levels of enthusiasm towards work
• Experience in working with a MRP system
