Purchase Ledger / Credit Control Assistant
Belfast Part-Time (4 Days/Week) | £22,000 – £24,000 (DOE)
We’re currently working on behalf of our client in Belfast ci8ty centre who are llooking for an experienced Purchase Ledger / Credit Control Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in accounts payable and credit control who’s looking for a flexible role with a supportive team.
You’ll play a key part in managing our purchase ledger and credit control functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance and is highly organised.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit control – manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments
Entering purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Supplier statement reconciliations
Posting bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts
Supporting wider finance tasks as needed
Criteria
Minimum 1 year+ in your current finance role
Solid industry experience in a similar position
Strong credit control background – essential
Proficiency with Sage (Sage 200 ideal, but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
