We’ve secured multi-year frameworks with leading clients including Uisce Éireann (Irish Water), Northern Ireland Water, and the Department for Infrastructure (DfI). These programmes span water, wastewater, flood management, and environmental protection – delivering essential services that make a difference in communities across the island.
We’re looking for Talented Project Manager (PM) like you to help us deliver our growing portfolio of water and environmental projects across Ireland. With your experience as a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the delivery of planning, detailed design, and Design & Build projects – contributing directly to high-profile national frameworks from our Belfast office.
You’ll bring real value by managing and delivering a diverse range of projects, including water and wastewater, strategic planning, and flood management. From concept through to commissioning, your leadership will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Other duties will involve:
* Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project lifecycle – feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
* Take ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and risk to ensure successful delivery.
* Oversee technical design reviews and ensure constructability, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Be the key point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and internal stakeholders – strengthening relationships and trust.
* Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including programmes, cost plans, and progress reports.
* Ensure compliance with required relevant regulations.
* Champion innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across project delivery.
* Foster a collaborative team environment that supports growth and knowledge sharing.
Your expertise and leadership will help us deliver meaningful infrastructure solutions while enhancing Jacobs’ reputation and delivery capability across Ireland. * Proven experience managing water, wastewater, flood management, or environmental protection projects – ideally within Ireland’s infrastructure landscape.
* Strong technical coordination skills, especially in design and/or Design & Build delivery models.
* Professional credentials such as APM Project Management Qualification, or membership with ICE, Engineers Ireland, or an equivalent institution.
* Knowledge of compliance with CDM and / or Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, along with all other applicable statutory requirements.
* Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
* Confidence with project management tools and processes, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.
