Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Kilkeel, who are expanding their team and are looking for a Team Leader
Duties:
To manage a team by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations
- Lead a line of production operatives within the Production department
- Ensure our products are produced to high quality standards
- Working to BRC standards and major retailer requirements
- Troubleshoot Walking the line to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action. Dealing with issues as and when required.
- Ensure that your team are operating within high quality, safety and legality standards
- Work alongside the Production Manager to ensure high quality standards are being achieved.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Food Team Leader
- Minimum 3 years experience within Team Leader Role within a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to demonstrate good manual dexterity
- Evidence of effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail
- Evidence of good timekeeping and reliability
- Able to manage and motivate a team
- Able to ensure production targets are met
- Able to complete quality paperwork.
